Land Surveyor

About the Job

The Land Surveyor performs various land and topographical survey functions and analyzes the data to ensure adherence to project’s specifications and land survey standards. Calculates the exact horizontal and vertical position of points on the earth's surface and conducts verification of the mathematical correctness of newly collected land and topographical survey data.

What you'll do:
  • Conduct land and topographical surveys, ensuring compliance with project specifications and survey standards.
  • Calculate precise horizontal and vertical positions of points on the earth’s surface.
  • Verify mathematical accuracy of collected survey data.
  • Assess quality of control data and determine the need for additional survey measurements.
  • Measure points, elevations, lines, areas, volumes, contours, and other land features using total stations, GPS, and other survey instruments.
  • Establish horizontal and vertical control networks using triangulation, trilateration, traverse, and leveling techniques.
  • Adjust design plans to align with existing features, including roads, property boundaries, and utilities, ensuring reliable survey data for construction projects.
What we’re looking for:
  • Must have Bachelor's Degree in Geodetic Engineering.
  • Licensed Geodetic Engineer will have an advantage.
  • At least two (2) years of relevant experience in conducting land and topographic survey.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and software such as MS Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
  • Adept in using total station, auto level survey instruments and must have high tolerance for outdoor working condition.
  • Willing to be assigned in Tarlac..
