What you'll do:
- Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications.
- Manage upgrades and maintenance of desktop, laptop, and workstation operating systems and related software.
- Deliver technical support to users within the company and its affiliates.
- Monitor and ensure consistent functionality and connectivity of all enterprise systems and applications
- Identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues, assess their impact on interconnected systems, and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Keep antivirus and endpoint protection tools updated on all computing devices and servers.
- Support the administration of on-premise servers and network hardware, including routers, access points, biometric systems, and switches
- Respond to IT service requests through the ticketing platform, delivering timely and effective technical assistance in accordance with SLA standards
- Participate in testing and evaluation of new technologies and assist in deploying new software and systems.
- Diagnose hardware and network-related issues and provide recommendations for resolution.
- Keep hardware inventory and asset tagging records up to date and accurate.
- Review daily backup logs and perform manual backups when necessary.
- Maintain reliable backup processes and ensure prompt and complete restoration when needed.
What we’re looking for:
- Graduate of Bachelor of Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology.
- Minimum two (2) years of relevant experience in providing IT Technical support and able to independently research, learn and implement best-practice solutions to problem.
- Must have the ability to work quickly and effectively under pressure.
- Strong work ethics and values, trustworthy and with high level of professionalism and personal integrity.
- Effective team player. Must have ability to manifest good interpersonal relationship and effectively deal with and relate with people from all levels across the organization.
- Amenable to work in IMUS CAVITE and MAKATI CITY..
