Job Description:
- Performs audit operations and identifies risks and areas for improvement.
- Assess and evaluates existing internal control through testing and interviewing methodologies.
- Ensures that measurements and calculations of quantities are in accordance with the prescribe standards and conform to applicable specifications.
- Reviews and conducts thorough checking of contractor’s billings.
- Reviews department’s established policies and procedures.
- Identifies non-compliance and recommends corrective actions.
- Witness the conduct of mid-year, year-end inventories and asset/scrap sale/disposal in different project sites and offices.
- Conducts spot inventory counts.
- Conducts review and count of petty cash funds, revolving funds, and provisionary and official receipts at different project sites on a monthly basis.
- Prepares documented audit findings and submits audit report in timely manner.
- Discuss audit findings to the division/department head or employee being audited, to gather their comments, acceptance, commitment, and action plan.
- Perform other duties assigned from time to time.
Job Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Licensed Civil Engineer is preferred but not required.
- At least one (1) year of experience in conducting internal audit engagements gained from real estate, property development, and/or engineering and construction industry.
- Has strong work ethics and values, trustworthy and with high level of professionalism and personal integrity.
- Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills, and highly capable of combining technical skills with process and financial insights.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Willing to work in Imus, Cavite.
