About the Job
The Bamboo Maintenance Worker ensures the durability, safety, and aesthetic quality of all bamboo Structures at the Ecopark. He will be performing regular inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs, and treatments to extend the lifespan of the structures while preserving their natural beauty and structural integrity.
What you'll do:
- Daily inspection of Bamboo structures and reporting of any findings that need attention for appropriate decision and action.
- Periodic and timely performance of prescribed Bamboo maintenance procedures as per the contractor's manual.
- Aid in the general housekeeping of the structures and of the park (as needed).
- Facility maintenance support (minor repairs, changing lightbulbs, reporting any damages, leaks, and other issues to immediate superior/Project-in-Charge).
- Official events assistance (set up, arrange tables and chairs for meetings, events, or visitors as needed).
- Monitor supplies and report if any needs replenishment/purchasing.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in working with Bamboo (construction, handicraft, treatment, and maintenance).
- Skilled in carpentry, rope/fastener work, working in heights, and the use of hand and power tools.
- Able to read and interpret simple repairs and follow detailed instructions.
- Familiarity with safe handling and use of various chemicals and sealants.
- Physically fit, willing, and able to perform manual tasks.
- Honest, trustworthy, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Willing to work in General Trias, Cavite..
