Oversees the overall management of the infrastructure and application services offered to the different departments such as installation, set up, testing and implementation of all new software systems, and upgrades and implementation of all systems customizations.
Ensures that training of users on systems applications is administered effectively and efficiently.
Ensures efficient and proactive help desk support to facilitate identifying needs, and appropriate administrative and technical supports including but not limited to diagnosis and repairs of auxiliary equipment and software updates.
Ensures routine backups are executed to protect the database of the system, integrity and reliability under automated tasks.
Enforces, monitors and documents housekeeping and security procedures for all technical applications for the purposes of disaster recovery and user security.
Implements a standard preventive maintenance policy and ensures the anti-virus software is always up to date and share necessary information with users regarding potential risks.
Implements company’s compliance with applicable data privacy practices and laws by conducting, educating the users, regular inspection on installed programs.
Monitors the company server and installation of authorized program to safeguard the company from risk exposure.
Ensures company’s compliance with the software licensing and intellectual property law to avoid the risk of being penalized or blacklisted.
Reviews and endorses for budget approval IT-related capital expenditures within defined projects.
Ensures that company data have a sound back-up copy in an off-site location as part of IT risk management procedures.
Oversees the maintenance of servers and workstations ensuring regular effective and efficient performance.
Manages the accreditation of hardware and software suppliers to ensure procurement of effective products meets the standard requirements. Negotiates with external provider on best cost-efficient deal on services or outsourced complex technical problem.
Develops strategic plans and programs for IT Infrastructure Support Team and ensures that goals and objectives are properly defined and clearly established.
Conducts and implements “Performance Management Program”, through performance coaching, counseling, mentoring and continuing developmental assignment and proper documentation of Performance Management Program.
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum of 6 years relevant experience in providing IT technical support and able to independently research, learn, and implement best practice solutions to problems.
Strong leadership competencies in development, coaching, mentoring, and situational assessment.
Outstanding ability in addressing customer needs.
Highly organized and capable of handling simultaneous work pressures.
