About the Job
The Engineering Manager is responsible for reviewing structural plans, analyses, and estimates to ensure compliance with the National Structural and Building Code of the Philippines. This role ensures the construction quality and the adherence to approved plans and specifications. valuates and recommends new materials and construction methods to improve cost efficiency, quality, and project timelines.
What you'll do:
- Reviews structural plans for housing, amenities, and land development, and ensures that all structural analysis and computations are in accordance with the National Structural and Building Code of the Philippines.
- Checks and reviews the bill of materials and ensures that these are in accordance with the approved specifications and computed in the most economical estimates.
- Checks and ensures that the labor and materials’ computations are aligned with the approved unit costs and estimate computations.
- Conducts site inspection with the Engineering Team to ensure that all constructions are done in accordance with the approved plans and specifications.
- Reviews and evaluates new construction methodologies and materials that can help improve the cost and speed of construction.
- Scouts for new and alternative materials and construction methodologies and keeps the company abreast with recent and modern technologies in engineering and construction.
- Additional tasks related to the role may be assigned as necessary to meet organizational needs.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Must be a Licensed Civil Engineer.
- At least six (6) years of relevant managerial experience, gained from construction, real estate, or property development industry.
- Proficiency in computer applications and software such as MS Office, AutoCad, STAAD, IDEA StatiCa, and Civil 3D.
- Willing to work in Makati City..
